Brandi Waheed, DVM
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Brandi is a Wyoming native, born in Riverton then later graduating from Campbell County High School. She was active in FFA, 4-H, soccer, and rodeo throughout high school and worked on the family ranch raising cattle (dairy and beef), horses, sheep and goats with many dogs and cats!
After High School, Dr. Brandi went on to complete her Associates of Science Degree from Central Wyoming College and her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Wyoming. She then moved on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2009.
Dr. Brandi then completed an equine internship in Norman, OK at Interstate Equine Services where she gained more specialized experience in equine surgery and lameness, dentistry, reproduction, and internal medicine as well as day in and day out emergency and routine care.
For 14 years Dr. Brandi was an Associate Veterinarian in Riverton, Wy and continued her focus on equine and small animal surgery and medicine, with added special interest in equine dentistry, lameness, and reproduction as well as dentistry, preventative care, end of life quality care in her small animal patients. Dr. Brandi is now excited to open her own practice and continue her passion for veterinary medicine!
Besides being a veterinarian, Dr. Waheed loves to be up in the mountains snowmobiling, fishing, four-wheeling, hunting, and riding horses with her husband Aziz, and daughters Ameena and Ameera. Her daughters also have the affinity for rescuing black cats so don’t forget to greet Blackie, Fluppy, or Gregory on your visits!
Codi Raymond
Veterinary Technician
Codi was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming. She has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. She is currently pursuing a degree to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Codi is very detail oriented and so efficient, focusing on the things her patients need and beyond!
Outside of school and work, Codi enjoys anything outdoors: camping, fishing, and hunting are some of her favorite hobbies! She loves all animals and has plenty of her own!
James Walker
Veterinary Technician and all the things...
James has been a Fremont County Resident for most of his life. James has always had a love for animals and really got to develop his skills training alongside his uncle who was a fellow Veterinarian. James is compassionate, talented and goes above and beyond to get the care each animal needs while helping out his clients.
He loves spending time with his dogs, being on a horse, or working/treating the cows. He also enjoys working on llamas and alpacas! In his free time, James is an avid paintball sniper, shed hunter, hiker, and camper. He would like to do a special shout out to his roommates Bella the Bassett Hound and Chicken the Canary.
